Dad meets an old friend

So today Dad felt very happy as he met with his old buddies again,JD and Peng. Its been like such a long time since dad had friends over to our tiny hall in our humble home! JD came first in an office like wear and told me he had a daughter around my age in Seafield too! Although he kind of forgot her class. Lol! Dads...
JD was a very humble looking family man while Peng seemed like a really cool kinda guy with his Espanol jersey.

What did he say her name was again? Oh I cant possibly remember. Janie?Jamie? Oh well...So dad have not met this friend for around 12 years and they both been sending their daughters simultaneously to Seafield school probably not even realizing each other! Wow,that's like so sad case xD Dad have been in the same room in University for 3 years with this friend and NOT even realize they were at the same place.

After lunch and watching the scary The Orphan movie which just blogging about it sends chills up my spine,xD ,(sorry for whoever's reading this,u can splash tomato on my pretty hair, kidding, its not,it is.lol!),and after lunch,I was halfway practising the piano(Fur Elise by Beethoven, think so) Peng came in. Then I wanted to carry on with my piano so I started a bit,and my dad went into the toilet,so it was just like me and him...And to avoid awkwardness I stopped my piano and carried conversation with Peng first by asking him what he did as a career. Seems like he's a really hardworking successful man who travels around the world and meets international clients and all that!

He gave me loads of good advices and motivation for life obstacles and STPM and all those things I kinda knew already but I accepted in gracefully :D They were very useful anyway! He told me,sis and Dad how his son bought one of the most expensive ggrraaannnddd pianos which is 9 feet long!Lol! He was like 'Haizzz...this son of mine..buy so expensive products' and something like that but I guess its pretty acceptable if you're holding a Masters in Piano!!!Btw,9 feet is fills up almost my freaking hall! Nevermind, I'll make do with my cute RM99 keyboard. As long it can play beautiful music thats fine. He also showed me and my sis here and there of his family members who lived in America. The pictures were just beautiful! Outside their cosy small Oklohama house, which was beautifully designed with the structure of middle age stone assembly(their not olden day, just the exterior design) lay beautiful dark pinkish bell-shaped flowers which when stacked together looked simply gorgeous~ And listen to this, during a certain month,i'm not so sure when, peacocks can actually fly about and if you're lucky, they would open up their beautiful feathered tails! ...Okay ,so I just checked a little of 'Stray Peacocks in Oklahoma on Google' and the first thing that pops out is "Stray Peacock attacks neighbourhood' but hey come on,if you dont attack them...they wont attack you!...Ok,fine thats not true, but you get the picture...a pretty peacock...

Steinway grand piano

And whats more he explained that in Oklahoma during the certain month of May? I think, lavenders bloom on the sidewalks emitting its beautiful fragrance all around, just beautiful, nature you just make me so full of joy!

Lavenders all over!!!

Later his friend left and promised we can come visit soon and Im pretty sure Mum will be happy because she have been good friends with Peng's wife! Guess mum, dad,Peng, his wife and some other of their university friends were some big group of friends :D

It was pretty good to see Dad so happy today with his old buddy! Dad was laughing at good times with his friends and it was pretty cool!

Later Peng showed me and Krys some pictures of his family baking and I think thats how Krys got inspired to bake cream puffs because he was showing some pictures of cream puffs and I was mocking her about it but somehow she wont admit it. She kept saying 'I memang plan already...hmmmm,I doubt that young lady!!! We wanted to go to the bakery but it was already like 8pm so I hope we can get it by tmrw... We already bought the all purpose flour...I think I can do my best and modify whatever ingredients we have in our fridge...theres like oranges,lemons,apples...should be good enough,oh and one tub of yogurt!Im sure I can do something with it,provided I dont eat it first...

During dinner,I showed Krys one pretty funny picture of me with eye make-up on,thx to Crystal!!! And I look absoloutely freaky xD Oh well...

Anyway nothing much when came back, just brought back loads and loads of mouth watering fruits and watched back some of the amazing Toastmasters videos and did a little....VERRYY littttttleeeeee Maths work, haiz, way too little!-Cries- Showed Dad back one of the contestant's very moving speech and he was all ..the world is unjustice. like that...lol! Played with Brandy and teased my baby doggie(I love the Brandster to bits) and yea..nothing much else! Think Im gonna read some Reader Digest or go on studying tonight...Ciao!

Toastmaster's Adventure,Subang Jaya,Day 3

Day 3
And yes, I've learnt from the past( which was basically just yesterday) about preparing much earlier!

My first speech about 'How to Prepare for a Pet' went pretty smoothly I guess, with excitement and all! Know how  I found it? I was initially planning to talk about the same topic for both speeches the night before,as allowed by Mr.Ratnam which was going to be used for the second speech,( I'll get back on it later). My love for pets kicked in,and at night,my boost of energy and motivation to write two different speeches  just boosted in and it was a pretty easy topic to talk about. Later,we were given some time to prepare for our second...the most frightening speech in front of mummies and daddies!

For this round,Ian did a good job about his love for origami! He asked the audience to guess one of his hobby, threw a paper plane to us and PRESTO!The answer was written in that paper plane, which was 'Origami'! I really liked his brilliant idea. Aarvin won in the end and I also guess he deserved it as his speech was very excellent! He has such a strong voice, very commanding indeed. Anyway,he wasnt feeling too well on that day, poor Aarvin, but it was still amazing that he managed to deliver a really beautiful speech!:)

During breakfast,I overheard the announcement announcing my sister as the winner of the best speech! I took a peek inside and saw her holding the blue ribbon, and I mocked her by mentioning 'penguin' to her later that day as her topic was about penguins...polars...and something to do with enviromental pollution!

I wanted to mingle a bit during break time, but that time was our last precious minutes to prepare for the speech ON A STAGE...IN FRONT OF OUR PARENTS...OUR SHOW! And when I'm really nervous or just focus, I just cant do any group studies nor talk to anyone,so was Emily and Alicia. I really wanted to practice with them but I was too caught up in my own worriedness that the three of us practiced alone talking to ourselves. Alicia actually rewrote her entire script and was memorising it!She told me that her parents had pretty high expectations from her so I guess I can understand. I admire her superb dedication for her speech. I only had a brief chat with Emily during lunch and then we were back to talking to noone else but ourselves when practicing. Its not that i'm arrogant or anything, its just the way I do things.

1 am sharp. Parents flood in the hall. All of us were sitting nervously in the front row with that big ugly stage glaring right in our faces!

The introduction speech was simple and brief, when you're tensed, every other speeches besides yours is brief(just making time catch up with your turn). When my turn came, I started talking my speech on 'Ways to Quit Smoking' and started my opening with a question 'Now ladies and gentlemen, are there anyone among you who smoke?' Everyone laughed and started looking around at each other and turns out noone did! You know how I would definitely like to spice up some humour into my speech,so there I was, adding a joke '...and one of the reasons why you shouldn't smoke is so that you can wake up to your partner and he would not have bad breath anymore..." and so I tought it was humorous...not really what the audience thought...and so to avoid awkwardness I quickly moved on to my next point, and in the end,I felt pretty upset that my speech was pretty dry and without much humour. I really dont know what went wrong,I was having good eye contact with the audience, there was good hand gestures, good walking to and fro...but it was just dry! Haizzz.......

Anyway enough of me,the other speeches were great! The winning from my team was by Alicia and I felt super happy for her! Her dedication made her deserve it so much she was talking about 'High Expectations' and I guess her mum and dad must'be been like 'That's my baby!!!' or something like that. I forgot who did about 'Fried Rice' although it was such a simple topic, the way he explained it was just super funny and people were laughing like crazy even at that such simple topic! There was another super entertaining speech by a Malay girl ,Tania. At first she confessed how nervous she felt when coming in as she noticed that she and her cousin were the only Malays(although there was another Malay boy) amongst the other Chinese and Indians, and how she muttered a lot during her speeches, and how she gained so much more confidence after the speech, and suddenly halfway during her speech...she  got stuck, and started muttering again..'Oh gosh,I think Im muttering now,....Yea,Im probably doing it again...Im muttering"...something like that I cant really remember her exact words. But although she was muttering,in combination with what she was talking,it was SUPER HILLARIOUS! and the crowd couldnt help laughing and giving her a huge applause(she won most improved participant!!!) :D

I was also surprised by Emily's performance! Earlier when she was briefly practicing her speech to me at the toilet,it was pretty normal, but during the speech,SHE ACTUALLY STARTED SINGING! I was like 'WOW!SUPER SUPER BRAVE MOVE'She was singing The Pussycat Dolls song and she had such a cute sweet voice! A huge thumb...two huge thumbs up!

We were all also deeply moved by Yohendran's topic. He confidently spoke " My dream is to be doctor'..and he went on until he reached the point '...because it was my aunty's last wish...' and he just suddenly teared up and informed about how his aunty passed away due to breast cancer...(Oh god,oh god,oh god, even blogging about this is sending chills up me and Im feeling so sorry for him)...He sniffed and sobbed quietly about a minute and said between tears later about how that inspired him to become an oncologist(someone who deals with the branch of studying cancer) and he ended his speech asking everyone to support awareness of prevention of cancer! It was truly deeply moving!

At the end of the day,I managed to receive 'The Most Supportive Participant' and I was glad that I managed to bring home something in the three days? Was I supportive? I have to admit I guess so:D

The only regret for the day was when I didnt get my stupid butt of my chair to give the last speech! I should've done it so badly,so so SOOOOOOOO BAADDDLYYY!!! Those kids, waaayyy younger than me should have been known seriously how much they inspired me! They may be wayy younger than me,but they seriously just enriched me! I dont care what crap comes out my mouth but  Im seriously truly moved,touched,wow-ed,amazed....inspired by so many of these youngsters! And what not better time to tell when you can feel it so deeply genuine on your heart? Of course my stupidity made me sit down there! If you are any of the participants on that day, you guys did a wondeful job! Everything I just wrote is like my own personal song dedicated to all of you <3 <3 <3 If theres any words i would like to express to you guys for teaching me so much,it would be...

At the end of the day, I managed to get a few pictures with some of them! Although I dint get to say goodbye to some of my briefly made new friends like Emily,James,Devran and Rachel. I mean, its not like Im super close,I mean just like little bit close,at least a goodbye would've been good!

I have learnt so much, about better organization, good preparation, and got inspired by joining this amazing programme! I really do hope I would be able to join anymore of these future programmes to brush up my public speaking skills again! I came home satisfied(not because of my finished ice cream in 20 seconds) and to wrap it all up...did my maths homework at night preparing for sem 2..sigh -.-

Note:My dad brought me home insects for my Bio project..They are ugly

Toastmasters Adventure,Subang Jaya,(Day 2)

A very good morning to wake up to and discover my uneaten, newly bought delicious looking cereals(with the beautiful packaging of purple box) was disrupted by weavers! Curse those ugly creatures! Breakfast started with a small bar of Kinder chocolate and some milk( I know, very healthy),and off me and my sis started to go to the car in a new journey!

Day 2

I'm really having a hard time remembering what happened on this day because of my lack of sleep, I think! My first speech about 'Valentines Day in Japan' was a pretty neutral one because I was too sleepy, I think...

Anyway, tips, always try your best to memorise what you want to present by head because eventhough you already understand your topic, you will this itching tendency to peek at your notes in your hand from time to time. And you should never have a podium or a table in front of you if you were the type of person who prefers gestures and movement. My speeches may be not good but I can say that my gestures are actually pretty good,so when the podium was presented in front of me with the notes in my hand, gone case,I was lightly gripping the table while constantly looking at the notes even when I knew the points by heart. A topic which was supposed to be enjoyable, flowery, mushy, fun turned out to some boring speech. I felt like a trembling mouse in someone's tight grip, you know, the feeling of being rigid yet trembling, and that just extra gave away my nervousness.

And Brendan did not prepare his speech the night before and just prepared it in the morning itself about teenage pregnancy! James was worse as he did'nt even prepare his speech at the moment! I gave him some suggestions about his favourite movie or books, and it suddenly hit him to talk about Disney and Star Wars. I was imagining a Mickey Mouse Jedi during his speech. xD

For that speech,Emily won! No surprise actually. Her speech was simply amazing! I mean, personally for me,I felt that if you were in that room, you could feel that passion radiating from her speech! She was talking about her passion for arts like the first day and it was truly just beautiful! The way she combined her tone of voice and everything in her speech was well...like she asked me later what her weakness was...I genuinely could not think of anything...so I was like...'nothing'! It was...idk if I was being too drunk on sleepiness or not...just flawless!

Later, a confident woman, named Marge gave us a speech about 'gestures' and 'connection with the audience or something like that! I couldnt help admiring her sense of style, not that I like it,it just stood out as unique to me! You know, her dark red brown hair along with her bedge blouse and skirt, kinda reminded me once of that hot look I once really wanted when my ambition was to be a hot photographer with sling camera in hand around my neck in the great deserts and ending up in documentaries which featured wildlife! Hot,sexy, and educational! And dream on,anyway,Im pretty much a Plain Jane whose short and not to mention...FAT! xD Anyway thats not the point, I was taken aback when she started singing...like I was in an American Idol audition room or something. Her voice was spiced up with the little fierce and fiesty tone along with the little rock-ish drama in in. I wouldn't really say I fancied it ,but hey,she was one brave woman with all 60(thats 30 pairs) of eyes all gleaming at her with 60 ears all absorbing every bit of goodness..and flaw she could produce from her voicebox!

Our second speech was on the spot preparations, with the given time about an hour and it could be completely random! I was really really sleepy, and got lazy and all, crap! I think James was a bit lazy too and we ended up playing some tic tac toe and had the most weirdest useless debate about...in fact it was super lame I cant even remember what it was about, but it had something to do with chickens, lady Gaga, and philosophy about life...or something like that! I wanted to get serious and write a song...but again thank you sleepiness...nevermind,you get the picture.

I cant believe in the speech I randomly, quickly thought about my lame topic to talk about and that was 'Dress Code for Schools',debating whether schools should allow students choice of clothes. I talked practically empty air,ok la,was'nt that bad,but when I say crappy,I mean standards that I'm not satisfied with. The evaluator soon said I was'nt too good with a lot of pauses and it was in such a slow rate! I guess shes right, haiz. Im not even in school anymore,oh wait, you do have to wear uniforms in Form 6!

Aarvin did his speech with loads of actions like impersonating his mum, whipping out his phone and doing the Gangam dance! It was the most entertaining speech of the day! Brendan's speech was very fun too as he mentioned about this person he knows(not mentioning in this blog) who repeats every action of his twice(I think its probably a mild case of OCD) like locking his car and his gate twice! There were three guys who talked about basketball, and another guy,I think its Ian if I'm not mistaken who mentioned about his trip to Australia and how he saw penguins on the roadside but didn't manage to steal one! I was also impressed with Denack's speech about one of his Deepavali day! Why? Because on the first day, he completely got stuck in the impromptu speech when he was asked about his favourite movie, and he was like 'Narnia'...then completely got stuck! On this particular day,he could just speak his mind easily, I believe that by experience it would be so much easier to pour your heart out,so that made me really really impressed to see his improvement!:D

The whole evaluation was very helpful and full of tips. However,James mentioned how boring it was and put on his hoodie and lay on the table and I was insisting it was good. As I couldn't talk to a sleeping person,I went and talked to Aarvin a little and found out about how he wants to be a marketer in engineering in the future! I really feel he could do very well in the future as he can express, focus, all the good qualities of a true leader!

The third speech put us all in different teams, and we were given the topic about 'Teenage Pregnancy',dammit, why could'nt Brendan be in our team! There was Hui Huang,Tristan, Nusrah and Sarah all in my team! Hui Huang,Tristan and me were the seniors and I guess we were just bursting with ideas. I wasn't very sure if Nusrah and Sarah really knew what to really add for the contents as they were just 12,and Hui Huang was a little too caught up with their ideas and absorbed in discussing it with Tristan,so I did'nt feel like leaving the Nusrah and Sarah out(who were only 12 btw) so I felt like..a mother chicken with her chicks or something! xD I brainstormed some ideas with them and I actually felt quite good about it, I always feel quite nervous with the idea of helping much younger, like what they will think of me but they were really great girls,so helpful and willing to listen! So we started brainstorming some ideas and writing them in pieces of paper with my instructions. I even got their twitter and number!Yay!

For the speech,I wrote one of the ways to prevent teenage pregnancy as 'Dress decently' and guess how Tristan(who was the one representing it in the speech made it?' He said it...adding '...so that you don't attract any boys' Like really??? That's such a nice twist to my point! I think it was Hui Huang's idea initially...Those sneaky rats! Anyway for the voting time, first James did it for his team, and since I knew him already ,I did'nt want to make him feel bad or anything,so I raised my hand for who I taught gave the best speech. However,Alicia was for her next team,so I did the same thing. Then my team came,so obviously I raised my hand too. Then my sister's team came, and since she was there with her evil snake eyes,so what else,I raised it too. Then the fifth team came, and since I raised for every other team,I had no choice but to raise my hand as well. Then finally, enough is enough! I did'nt raise for the sixth team...SORRY SIXTH TEAM! U WERE GOOD THOUGH!

Our team won! Yay! It was definitely because of the humour in it when Tristan took a jacket and stuff it in his jacket and he looked like a pregnant man!

Before going back, my group and I had a light chat with Mr. Ratnam and we were discussing about what we should talk about the following day...in preparation...in front of...EVERYONE'S PARENTS!!!
I was like 'oh shit,my mum's gonna see everything ...' and out of the blue,I have no idea how the conversation steered into business investments ...seriously,we just jumped topics like a rabbit!

Nothing else I can really remember much...haiz! On the way home, I promised myself to quickly do my research by night ,as we had two to prepare, and sleep earlier.

Moral: Always prepare early and sleep early before any speeches you make. Oh,and get you facts and figures right!

Anyway thank you again Nadine for helping me once again with my topic, she was really helping me all again, and asking me to see John Barrowman wih the adorable teddy bear!<3

And so out story wraps up like a tortilla wrap! Prepare for Day 3...

Toastmaster's Adventure,Subang Jaya(Day 1)

What are the most common phobias in the world?
Well,its pretty simple right? Snakes,Spiders,Heights,Death...
Well, let me tell you something, one of them is Public Speaking too! Also known as Glossophobia
As we watch media and read books, one must think public speaking is easy as the other person in your television or computer screen does it with such ease, humour, and gesture.
Its not.
Trust me, public speaking is not as simple, standing in front of a crowd can make your once perception of yourself on how great you think you are, change.

Thats how I felt in the three days in a Toastmasters three day event which was organized by EXTOL Toastmasters Subang Jaya which emphasizes in shaping you to the world of public speaking in reality with a bunch of strangers you never know.

Day 1
It was an early 9 am on a Saturday, when me and Krystal arrived at a small building. My eyes scanned the place and I was packed with excitement for something new. After registerations and receiving a file with some brochures to flip through,we seated ourselves in a enclosed hall with other 30 kids, all strangers to one another. My eyes rovered while scanning the room while making small chat to my sister.

I guessed I should try to make some friends so shook hands and introduced myself to the girl beside me, Rachel who was only 12. Later, we were greeted by one of the mentor's speech which was an inspirational one. We had a minor ice breaking session, with each of us to mention our names, age, and school we were from.

To my utter horror,I discovered that I was the only 18 years old! there wasn't even a single 17 year old! Everyone around was about 12-16 years old! I had a mild baby blooming panic attack that everyone was going to have high expectations from me and treat me like some inspirational tool thing! I felt so worried! I kept urging my sis to insist I was 17 and I almost felt like lying, but didnt in the end thanks to my GENUINITY!

Later the group of 30 of us were divided in two teams. Each team needed to elect four presidents and four sergeant in arms. I nominated this new girl I met,Alicia(whom has the biggest dimples I've seen so far)as the president while she nominated me as the Sergeant in Arms(SAA). She kept giving me signals from her table indicating she wanted to nominate me, and I was giving signals back like 'Noooo' .In the end,she mentioned my name! The 4 presidents in my batch were: Aarvin, Alicia ,Ian Tan,and Emily Chow. Joining me as SAA's were James Lim, Tristan Ong,and Law Hui Huang.

Later we were asked about what makes a good public speaker, and were given some chocolates and  snacks if we could answer them. I managed to receive some biscuit wafer with some chocolate fillings inside! Yay! Some of them include focus, humour, connection with the audience, facts and figures and gestures.

Later we were divided into groups of five.I was in placed in the first group (for my batch) and there was Aarvin, Brendan,James, and Denack. Aarvin was the first to greet me with a handshake and warm smile. Later we were told to write a speech about ourselves! Can you believe that ? I started to get worried, I mean I don't find anything great about myself,I must admit, and I'm freaking insecure not to mention, so I was playing it cool the whole time, you know,if you show your vulnerability, people wont like it...something like that. So there I sat, just tapping my pen on blank piece of paper with the only few words 'Loves Music'. Like, just  telling about your passion is good enough, screw it,I hardly have achievements in my life. Anyway, James was also expressing his worry and I just told him not to worry about it! Although I myself was worrying. He was telling how he wanted to be a singer and all so I told him why not,he could be a star some day...errr,Im a HUGE music lover but never really believed that. Anyway he has a nice voice, unlike mine. Therefore,he has potential of being a singer...

So the other person in my group, Brendan, I didn't really talk much to him at first because I thought he was like some 'gangster' with mohawk side haircut and the way he didn't really bother to make any eye contact with us at first. I thought he was the cool kid and everything. Later when James and Aarvin went somewhere else, I started chatting with Brendan and he told me his love for Fernando Torres and started showing me the picture of him in the phone, and I told him how I preffered Messi. And Messi in any case is waaayyy better! And we chatted a little and I realised I was so stupid to be such a quick judgemental person,he's really cool, not cocky at all! Slaps to my own face!

Later we had breakfast in a short span and I met Alicia back while waiting near the restrooms. Another slap to my face, I got confused with her and another girl. Her name was Emily and they both had slight similarites in features. Thus, both were wearing green! We introduced ourselves and had breakfast together. Can you believe it,Emily does not eat chilli!!! Alicia told me she used to join public speaking competitions and received first place, but she was humble about it! Both also told me that they joined ballet when they were younger but Emily quitted because it was too tough!

I joined my sis later and she told me her topic was going to be about 'Rockstar' because of her love of drums and all! Such a fun and easy topic! And she wouldnt help me decide what to write about myself. Grrr, anyhow, she has no authority! Hahaha!

Later we were called back and the time to introduce ourselves began.

Everyone had some amazing stories about themselves! I found out about Aarvin's love of football,Emily's passion for the arts, and many more! When it came to my turn, I started blabbing about my passion for music and guitars and pianos, and I did a stupid thing of admitting my weakness so fast: I'm not so focused. Guess its kinda true, I mean, I find accomplishment a bit tough because my brain cant seem to stick on something easily. Then i blabbed somemore about my horrible coordination in driving and how I used to grip the tray when working in Old Town White Coffee because I was afraid I would spill the delicacies delight on the customers! Anyway I came back and felt pretty silly, but James said it was quite cute, and thanks to that minor compliment I felt much better!James is always smiling and such a sweet guy in front of everyone, I dont even know whether that was true, but whatever,I accepted it! James is one of the most smiling guy in the place,in every speech he made he was always smiling!!! Not in a noob way,the happy warm feeling kinda smile that can make you happy :)

Later, the prizes were given and Aarvin won the first place! His speech was really good and I was very amazed at the way he delivered his speech. It sounded professional Good job!

Our second speech after lunch(which was horrible anyway),and because of my diet,I took less rice(Mr Ratnam was being sarcastic and all saying: WOW! THAT'S A LOT YOU EAT!),..was an impromptu speech. I've done this in Muet before and totally screwed it up( You can read about it in my earlier posts) and I was really hoping I could do a better job!

My topic was about 'My Most Memorable birthday' Easy piece of cake! I just mentioned about my birthday when I turned 17, I still vividly the enjoyable day when I received some gifts and warm wishes and songs and the joy with my friends! And the best part, one of my best friend was celebrating her birthday on the same day as me! So that wasn't too hard. The only difference is, this Muet topics were pretty simple as the people around were still young, but I told myself,if I cant even do these simple speeches, how can I ever tell myself I'm prepared for days ahead in Muet, next to university and the real working world! The evaluator mentioned my speech was loud enough and clear, and interesting but I spoke a little too fast!

(Just took a break with a Music wafer!) Back to me,me!

Before going home,we were reminded to prepare a speech with any random topic.

I came home and started researching and practically trashing the entire Google to find something interesting. I cant believe out of the kazillion,bazillion,dazillion,...ZAZILLION topics in this entire universe, I couldnt even find a single topic from 2 am,until when it reached 2 am ,I finally came down to the topic I wrote in my blog a few months back about 'Valentine's Day in  Japan'!!! My friend,Nadine was being such a great friend to stay up with me till late that night in helping me pick a topic! On the same time, I was being a better friend in introducing her to the world of Nigahiga and I politely asked her to remove her laughing hyena from her room! Unfortunately she didn't, the hyena laughed and laughed her spots off!
And thats how I slept super late, such a good preparation for the next day of waking up at 7 am,smart girl,*pinches own cheeks*...

And for Day 2 coming up on the next post ;)

Synopsis: This story is about a lovely girl who feels she has such a lovely life, loving romantic boyfriend,a happy organised life, like everything's in control. But she still feels there's something bothering her and she feels so insecure everyday
and feels all lonely when shes alone again.

Complicated(Fizz's version)

Uh huh, life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh, that's the way it is
'Cause life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh that's the way it is

Chill out ,what you yellin' for?
Lay back, it's all been done before
And if I could only let it be, I will see
I've done what I wanted to
Work's done,satisfaction grew
Feels like, another one of the days where I had fun...

when night comes,im somebody else
eyes cant close I can't relax
Tears like a river,I feel like a fool to me
Help me

Why does life always have to be so complicated?
Just finding an answer
Looking deep inside makes my heart just fill with hatred
So insecure
And I fall and I crawl and I break
and I take what I get and i turn it around like a soldier would
but i would never win this battle,I'll have to fake it
oh, no, no

You come,I hear the lovely sounds
bells ring, harps play, the angels are aroused
lucky girl,hey thats me,in reaalityyy
you're making me
laugh out when you strike your pose
heart melt, with all the chocolates and the rose
dont leave,im begging you, dont you see?
what I've've become

when night comes,im somebody else
eyes cannott close I can't relax
Tears like a river,I feel like a fool to me
Help me

Why does life always have to be so complicated?                                                                 Just looking for an answer
Looking deep inside makes my heart fill with hatred
So insecure
And I fall and I crawl and I break
and I take what I get and i turn it around like a soldier would
but i would never win this battle,I'll have to fake it
oh, no, no

Thank you! <3

Felt really happy to see my friends again! We went to Pyramid and for breakfast,we ate in "Porridge Time"Im usually grossed out by frog's legs but could not believe my taste buds,as it tasted waaaaay tendier and yummier! Had some fish porridge with peanuts and crabsticks! and Kimmy got the frog legs, oooohhhhh! The mix with some kind of sauce with fried onions were delicious!

Had a great day with my friends! Kavin drove me back with his car all jerky and all! Kimmy's car dint look as safe anyway, haha! I remember going in once and she forgot to brake, and in her small cute Kancil car ran over the STEEP brake, you know...BUNG!

Went to watch Pitch Perfect later, kinda boring plot but it was very humorous! The storyline was pretty predictable, first time I dint really fall in love with any of the characters! Like I always do,hahahaha

Got scammed by a salesman! They are sneaky! Paid RM10 for a small tiny teddy bear toy thing, now i know to never trust them again! He came to me all charming and saying how cute I was,...bullshit! Anyway,I thought Dena and Kimmy were both paying for whatever charity thing they're organiszing so I paid like RM!0 for the dumb bear.

Later in Popular bookstore, another salesman came and I was like 'no thx' but it turned out I dint have to pay anything.I mean at first I asked if  I should,he said 'yes'so of course I said 'no',but I think he did'nt hear me properly so there you have it.Anyway,Kimmy was super sweet to advise me not to fall for anymore scams! Good lesson learnt today!

Practised some driving with mum, messed up again, car engine died off cos i dint know how to balance the clutch with the petrol.Mum was being a great teacher,I wonder how her mind can explain things while concentrating,I think I need the power to do that,I tend to be super focus on one thing till I cant say anything else....OR....mind's all jumbled like a scrambled egg, mixed berry fruit till I lose sight of my focus! I really ant wait to take my driving test on Monday and get my 10 hours ++ done with! I cant wait to drive! Imagine the independence and freedom! I understand its no joke,I'm gonna take extra precaution and go slllooowllly! Any1 wanna be my passenger???:)

Practiced some guitar when I came back, played 'Too Close For Comfort' by 'Mcfly and 'F*** you' by 'Lily Allen'! Miss so so so much the pleasure and sensation of music especially when STPM gets you all rigid,dry,bored....screwed up, nevermind, you get the picture!

Watched the sad ,a little disturbing video about the famous suicide of Amanda Todd with sister. Its really sad watch! I just cant imagine how some people can be so heartless and cruel to some random stranger that's not even going to effect any part of your lives! Jerks! Seriously, she was so innocent!

Had so much chocolate and food these holidays! Made an oath to not have any more after my STPM when eating was only to release stress and now its just for mere pleasure. Its the same guilty pleasure as having....

Actully Im 18.Its legal.But I dont care. I'll wait till im 23+.

What am I crapping? Who knows the future? Oh nevermind, gonna run through some internet stuff b4 i sleep tonight, just forget the nonsense i said! NIIGGGHTT<3

What goes around comes around

>>Hey Fizzies, just found some really great motivational stories online, will be sharing some, enjoy

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.”
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, “And think of me.”
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: “You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.”
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard….
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, “Everything’s going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.”
There is an old saying “What goes around comes around.”
